HOW IT BEGAN
I have always had a passion for cooking and in the past five years as more of my
time has become available, I developed an interest in cooking preserves. There
is a vast amount of produce available to me from our country property. After
gathering experience from making these sauces now for four years, my efforts
have proven more than successful with family and friends, and so a commercial
venture has began.

PROPERTY
The cabernet grapes from which these sauces are based come from our property
just out of Malmsbury. The vines are tenderly cared for and maintained by
family members, as is our prime Angus beef herd. The Malmsbury property has been
with the family for 32 years, with the vineyard commencing 15 years ago.

CABERNET SAUCE
This sauce is to be used as an alternative to other sauces and is suitable for
beef, pork, or lamb either roasted or from the bbq. It can also be added to gravies
to enrich the flavour.

FURTHER PRODUCTS
It is anticipated that further products will be available and suggestions are
welcome. Next season a delicious Traminer Grape condiment will be
available and is an excellent accompaniment with cheese. This sauce has been
trialled among many and has been an excellent surprise.
